Meet the Trainer
Stephanie Kirst became professionally involved with dogs in 2006 when she was elected the Director of Public relations for a private dog rescue in San Diego, California. She volunteered her time and home to foster dogs for the rescue. Stephanie was also elected as the Vice President, and Director of Southern California while working for the rescue. During her time working and volunteering for the organization over 400 dogs were successfully pulled from shelters and placed into forever homes
While doing rescue work she decided that she wanted to expand her knowledge and further her education in Animal Behavior, specifically dogs, and enrolled in the Animal Behavior College based in Los Angeles, CA. She completed specialty coursework in learning theory, basic obedience training, the art of effective problem solving, canine body language, clicker training, and more. She then completed a 6-month hands-on internship before receiving certification from the Animal Behavior College.
Stephanie moved to central Illinois in January of 2009 and is now accepting new clients.
